How Our Bumper Repair Works
Text a photo. Robert does the rest in your driveway.
No drop-off, no rental car, no week without your car. Here's exactly how a repair goes, from the first text to paying when it's done.
How mobile bumper repair works, step by step
Call or text photos
Send one or two clear photos of the damage from different angles, with the car dry and in good light. A video works too. Add the vehicle and your area.
Get a quote from the photos
Robert quotes from what he sees, usually within minutes during weekday business hours. Quotes rarely change; if something wasn't visible in the photos, he explains before doing anything different.
Pick a day
He's usually out within two or three days, sometimes the same day if he's nearby. Most appointments are in the morning. He texts a day or two ahead to confirm, and again that morning when he's on his way.
He comes to you
Robert pulls up with his truck and trailer, sets up in your driveway, and gets to work. He needs a power outlet and room to work; parking decks don't work.
The repair, usually under three hours
He repairs the damage, mixes your color on site, and cures the paint with a heat lamp. Welding cracks and pushing out dents take longer.
Pay when it's done
Cash, check, or Venmo. No deposit, no credit cards, no financing. A written estimate and a receipt are available on request.

Taking photos for a repair quote
You don't need a dozen pictures. One or two clear photos from different angles usually tell Robert what he needs to know. Take them with the car dry and in good light, step back far enough that the damage has some context, and get one closer shot at an angle that shows how deep it goes.
The photo guide has a few more tips, including what to show for cracks, mirrors, and headlights.
“Some customers will send a video, some customers will send me 32 pictures.”
Hours and weather for mobile repair
Robert works Monday–Friday, about 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.. On very hot days, he wraps up by about 2 p.m.
Because the work happens outdoors, weather decides the schedule. He doesn't paint in rain or snow, below-freezing days are difficult, and he carries a canopy. During heavy pollen season, he avoids painting certain colors. If the weather turns, the appointment moves to the next good day.
Caring for the car after a paint repair
You can drive within a few hours. Wait at least two days to wash the car, and hold off on waxing the repaired area for about 30 days. If a problem with the repair itself shows up, Robert will make it right.
