Website purpose

The site provides general information about cosmetic vehicle repair, service areas, common repair questions, and ways to contact the business. It is not a repair manual, inspection report, safety assessment, insurance opinion, or promise that a particular vehicle or damaged part can be repaired.

Using the site or contacting us through a link does not by itself create a customer relationship, reserve an appointment, or obligate either side to proceed with a repair.

Photo-based evaluations

Clear photographs can be a useful first step. They may help identify the visible part, general type of damage, and whether an in-person cosmetic repair evaluation appears worthwhile. Photographs can also leave important facts out.

A photograph may not reveal hidden or structural damage, mechanical problems, sensor or advanced driver-assistance system issues, previous repairs, damage behind or beneath a panel, broken mounting points, corrosion, material condition, paint history, or other conditions visible only through physical inspection or specialized diagnosis.

Unless we expressly say otherwise in a direct written communication, a response based on photographs is preliminary. It is not a final diagnosis, guaranteed statement of repairability, final scope of work, binding price, safety determination, or promise of a particular result.

Estimates, scope, and pricing

Any preliminary price or scope discussed from photographs is subject to verification against the vehicle’s actual condition. The appropriate repair and price may change if an in-person look shows additional damage, prior work, unexpected materials, access limitations, parts issues, color or finish differences, sensor involvement, or another condition not visible in the original information.

The site describes how the business usually works: no deposit to book, and payment by cash, check, or Venmo when the work is done. Cancellation, warranty, and other terms for a particular job are confirmed directly with the business before work begins.

Service scope and referrals

Cosmetic Auto Repair describes a business specializing in appropriate cosmetic vehicle repair. It does not advertise dent repair, paintless dent repair, structural collision repair, mechanical repair, hail repair, or diagnosis and repair of ADAS or other vehicle safety systems.

Some damage that first looks cosmetic belongs with a collision center, mechanical repair facility, vehicle manufacturer or dealer, glass specialist, electrical or safety-system specialist, parts supplier, or another qualified provider. Recommending a different route is not a failure to serve the customer; it is part of keeping the repair scope honest.

Vehicle safety

Do not use website information, text messages, or a photo review to decide whether a vehicle is safe to drive. Stop using the vehicle and seek appropriate professional help when you suspect structural damage or a problem involving brakes, steering, suspension, tires, airbags, seat belts, glass, lighting needed for safe operation, cameras, radar, sensors, mechanical systems, leaking fluids, or any other safety-related condition.

We do not claim expertise outside the cosmetic repair scope described on the site. If there is uncertainty about safety, have the vehicle physically evaluated by a properly qualified provider.

Information you provide

A useful evaluation depends on reasonably accurate information. Please identify the correct vehicle, describe what happened as accurately as you can, disclose known prior damage or repairs when relevant, and send current photographs that fairly show the affected area. Do not send information or images you have no right to provide.

Customer photographs

You keep whatever ownership rights you have in photographs or videos you submit. You allow us to view, copy, and use them only as reasonably needed to evaluate and respond to the inquiry, communicate about service, and maintain legitimate service or business records.

Submitting an image does not give us a broad perpetual license to advertise with it. Separate permission should be obtained, where appropriate, before a customer image is published in a gallery, before-and-after feature, advertisement, social post, or other public marketing.

Repair suitability and results

Not every scratch, crack, chip, bumper cover, mirror, headlight, painted part, or other cosmetic condition can or should be restored through the services described here. Suitability and results depend on the vehicle, part, material, finish, age, exposure, prior repairs, damage severity, access, replacement options, and the actual circumstances of the work.

General examples and educational content are not guarantees that another vehicle will be repairable or will achieve a particular appearance, durability, value, or match.

Website accuracy and availability

Reasonable efforts are made to keep the website useful and accurate. Services, coverage, scheduling, availability, images, and written content can change, and an occasional error may occur. Service-area pages describe potential coverage and do not guarantee availability in every listed area.

We may correct or update website information without advance notice. The current direct conversation about a specific vehicle is more relevant than general website text.

Acceptable website use

Please do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with website operation, introduce malicious code, overwhelm the site with automated traffic, scrape content in violation of applicable law or technical restrictions, submit fraudulent or abusive inquiries, impersonate someone else, or use the site to infringe another person’s rights.

We may restrict access or take reasonable protective steps when use threatens the site, business, customers, or other people.

Website content and intellectual property

The site’s original text, design, branding, graphics, arrangement, and original photography are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. They may be viewed and used for ordinary personal evaluation of the services, but may not be copied, republished, sold, or used to create a misleading affiliation without permission.

Third-party names, marks, materials, and customer-owned photographs remain the property of their respective owners. Nothing here claims ownership of material the business does not own.

Third-party links and tools

A link may open a phone, messaging, map, social, or other service operated by someone else. We do not control the availability, security, content, terms, or privacy practices of those services. A link is provided for convenience and is not necessarily an endorsement.

Reasonable limits of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its general informational content are provided without a promise that access will always be uninterrupted or error-free. The business is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising solely from reliance on general website content or inability to access the site when a limitation of that kind is lawful.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits responsibility that cannot legally be excluded or limited. These website terms also do not replace any rights, obligations, or remedies that apply to an actual repair under a separate agreement or applicable consumer law.

Responsibility for misuse

If your intentional unlawful misuse of the website, fraudulent submission, malicious interference, or infringement of another person’s rights causes a third-party claim against the business, you agree—where permitted by law—to be responsible for the resulting reasonable costs and losses. This provision is limited to misconduct connected with your use of the site and does not shift responsibility for the business’s own conduct.

North Carolina law

These website terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina, without disregarding consumer protections or other rights that applicable law does not allow the parties to waive. No statement here invents a corporate domicile or physical business address.

If one provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions should continue to apply to the extent they can reasonably operate without it.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be revised as the site and business practices develop. The “Last updated” date will identify the current posted version. Changes apply prospectively from publication unless a different notice or effective date is legally required.
